Trigger Warning, Yoga Lovers Beware!

Oh my goodness I've never blogged consistently before, so be patient with me, especially if I don't every day.  I will be consistent, God's messages do need to get out.  That's what that strange prophet Jonathan Kleck said... what verses did he use, but basically that we're held accountable before the Lord to share what He reveals, or people's blood is on our heads.  I'm thankful enough for God's grace to want that heavy burden.  Oh, and someone online during one of Dr. Stella's revival services was chatting with me, and I guess whatever I said, He was like WRITE THE VISION DOWN!  So I was like crap should I be writing all this stuff down?  It's in my journals, should it be public?  So I'm new to a public ministry, and that's part of why I went so manic, I was a little worried.  And that message on Facebook I gave, sorry it was kind of slurred.  I was manic, and nervous, I'd never done a Facebook Live, but I knew it was time to.  It was time for that message to get out, because I know the Lord in heaven is looking down at the American church and saying Tsk Tsk Tsk and pulling His hair out over all our silliness and sinfulness.  For being so smart we are simultaneously stupid.

So I'm going to focus on one thing the Lord has given me strong convictions about.  Trigger warning, this WILL offend some, maybe a lot.  A lot of people, a lot of Christians, do this and think it's fine, so I'm telling you, you're about to get slapped in the face.  It's a gentle slap but it'll feel sore and sting a while.

Christians have NO BUSINESS doing Yoga.

I repeat, Christians have NO BUSINESS doing Yoga.

You just cannot separate the spiritual from the physical, as our secular culture tells us is possible, as it denies the spiritual at all as being a reality.

Now, I don't have time to go into details about this, but I'm not the only Christian saying it.  First of all, there's a wonderful podcast called Cultish: The Kingdom of the Cults.  It's a few Christians from Apologia Church that explore all different cults, the psychology and appeal behind them, and they get Christians to interview and share stories of how God saved them from whatever cult they were in, Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, New Age/Bethel (Yes do research Bethel Church is totally a cult, their music is catchy but, please be careful what you support and buy and listen to.) Anyhow, they have a few shows specifically discussing Yoga with a former Yoga teacher who's a Christian and is convicted it's wrong and gave it up.

Doreen Virtue is also a favorite teacher of mine online.  She's a former New Age guru, I can't remember if she wrote 40 or 70 New Age teaching books, but she was a consultant to Oprah so she was a big deal in the New Age.  The Lord saved her recently and she's totally repented of it all and feels now she's got to reverse all the terrible teaching she shared.  So, she has several interviews with Christians who were really into Yoga, instructors of Yoga, I remember one girl did consider herself a Christian Yoga instructor, and it took time, but she realized Yoga was having detrimental effects on her spiritually and repented.

Steven Bancarz was also a New Age big shot who was saved and now is very outspoken against all things New Age, including Yoga.

There's more, but I'm running out of time.

Someone tried to argue with me those gods, those Hindu gods, are imaginary, just in their mind, we know they aren't real.  I disagree wholeheartedly.  They are little gods, they are demon gods, they are not the One True God, the Great I Am, but they are very real.  That's why the Hindus worship them.  The power one gets from reaching enlightenment is real, that's why Hindus do it!  Duh!

You know who would scientifically confirm they are actually real?  CERN.  They're a European agency, I'd say they're like the European version of stranger things.  They are literally trying to use technology to bring Hindu gods into our sphere.  Look it up!  It's evil and stupid, we've got enough problems in our world today without opening portals to hell and inviting Hindu demons in! Good grief what are those fools thinking?  I'm telling you, some people are beyond stupid.  Stupid to think a human could control a loose demon.  Only Christ can handle that.  Christians with a strong walk with Him should be okay.  But Christians bowing their bodies in poses to Hindu gods, well, that's confusing, the Hindu demon is going to pop up and chuckle in a very evil way and say, So GLAD you rang I'm READY to bring HAVOC and CHAOS to You HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.  Or something wicked and evil like that.

So... if I were you, I'd check out Praise Moves, a Christian woman started that who's convicted we need to stretch and exercise but Yoga is not the right way.  I'm sure there are other alternatives.  But, I hate the term Christian Yoga, such an oxymoron.  It's impossible.  So, yes, if you do Yoga and are offended, I'm really not sorry at all, to throw bricks at IDOLS.  Now, if I'm helping a person build a foundation for their life, I gently handle bricks and pass them along for that person to build with.  But when I see and IDOL watch OUT.  And there are IDOLS EVERYWHERE.

HAVE your armor on please.

And if you're a certain friend reading this who says you're a prophet too watch out, I've now called you out publicly as doing something prophets ought not to do.  It's so bad, I don't care that I've offended you, I've got to do what Abba tells me to do and say what He tells me to say. It's sad if you get mad but it's much scarier to be a false prophet unto the Lord one day, when He says, How did you spend your life and use your time and ministry, Why did you brag about doing Yoga as a hobby on Instagram when your friend Stacy told you NO!  Did you really think that would escape Abba's eyes?  It definitely caught mine when I was briefly online a few weeks ago or so. Maybe only a week ago.  Obviously my internet usage is very limited, I still don't have my cell phone even, or really my ipad, just my computer.  And I'm careful to limit the time I spend on it.  I am aware of my tendencies to be addicted to conspiracy sites and dive off the deep end into unknown territories, because I just have to know more and more and more. So, I am being super careful and even avoiding the ones that yell.  Yes you probably know the "crazy" one who yells.  But I understand why, if you know all he knows you'd want to scream and yell too!  Anyhow, that's enough ranting on Yoga today.  Look up CERN and see for yourself how real Hindu gods are, and ask yourself, is that REALLY what I want to pose to with my body?  I certainly don't. And I wish you won't. :)  Peace out on that note!
